Just back from Angkor Wat. It’s really a wonderful trip. From the constructions and the sculpture of the Angkor Wat, we can tell they must have a glorious and glamorous history. The visiting of well calculated temple buildings, delicate historical sculptures and Hindu religion trust brought me to the ancient time. Slowly but captivating dance steps, charming gestures and appealing clothing, the performance of the traditional fairy dance, made me feel I was really in the wonderland.
Though not being very rich and well educated, most cambodian are plain. Meanwhile, they also cherish and enjoy their life.Being living on the river, some people spend all of their live by relying on the river. Raising pigs, crocodiles, and fish, taking a shower, washing the dishes and even pissing in the same river, they still live happily. A 6- year- old girl needs to take care of her 2 year-old brother. They start to work for their living since they can walk! It’s seems they have hard time in their whole life; however, they cherish their simple bliss! Contrary, people who live in a convenient and comfortable environment always feel unhappy and live without specific goal. Why? Is that because we never feel satisfied, and ask for more.Or people who live in poverty never compare to other or even not knowing there are something better?
